F.A.Q.
Usually, translation costs are calculated based on the number of source words, but the costs often vary depending on the complexity, the type of projects and the urgency. If you want a quick quote, just send me the file you want to get translated and I will get back to you with a free quote.
Yes, I use SDL Trados 2021 and I own a personal license. I am also a proficient user of Memsource. I can use your TMs and I am happy to sign any NDAs if needed.
Same as above, turnaround times vary depending on the complexity, the number of words, the type of projects and the urgency. Working overnight, weekends and urgent requests might have a surcharge. Again, for any information or a free quote contact me and we can have a chat about it.
No. Even if the terms “translation” and “interpreting” are often compared, they are two different jobs. I do not have the skills nor the knowledge for giving interpreting services. I stick to what I am good at, written translation and DTP.
No, I don’t. The reason is that I am not a sworn translator and these are not my fields of expertise. I operate within my fields of expertise. Anyway, I always check the content of any requests I receive before accepting the job, to make sure I can provide a first-class translation service.
I accept payments via Wise or bank transfer. All invoices should be paid within 30 days after the invoice date unless different arrangements have been agreed previously. I accept GBP, USD and EUR.
Multilingual DTP stands for Multilingual Desktop Typesetting Publishing and is the process of adapting an existing layout or graphic design document or publication into another language. For more information click here.
